New Weights

Today it basically rained all day, Carson woke up at 6:30 and Kelsey did not wake up until 8:15 then she took another nap from like 10:30 to 12:30ish and now is asleep (I guess being a girl she needs her beauty sleep). The babies went to the dr today and got their 4 month old shots which at 2 months the shots knocked them out however the opposite happened this time. They screamed from the time we got back in the room and they didnt stop, even in the car on the way home they were a bit fussy. Carson fussed when we got home for an hour straight I finally had to put him in his basinett and let him cry it out he eventually fell asleep, so I don't know if he was overly tired or just had a stomach ache or what.

Carson weighs 13lb 6 oz and Kelsey weighs 11lb 12 oz they both are getting BIG!!!

Jim got home from his dirt bike trip to the sand dunes in Oklahoma (he had a fun time)however he broke his collar bone (gross) and has to wear a brace on his upper body for 4-6 weeks. He didnt even feel any pain when it happened and doesnt have pain now but he just has to be careful. I am glad he is okay as it could have been worse :)
I should get some pictures this week it was a crazy weekend with family here.

HOT Day

VERY TIRED BOY!!!!!! (right before bath/bed time)
VERY TIRED GIRL!!!

Today was very hot like I think it got over 70 all I know is Carla and I went walking with the twins and Isabella and it was hot like I was sweating and didnt wear a hat or sunscreen so my arms are a bit red. I should have known with this hot weather that we would get a chance of bad storms which we did, they even sounded the tornado sirens in all but the storm passed us (thank goodness) because Jim was out with a friend loading up the dirt bikes for their trip tomorrow. So I was trying to give the babies their baths and get them fed which isnt normally an ordeal but it made me nervous and tense with the storm that I was moving very fast. For some reason Kelsey cries and gets very hysterical when we put her pjs on her at night she is fine when I put her clothes on in the morning but she does not like the pjs. I am glad its getting warmer then she can sleep in a onesie as I am assuming she doesnt like to wear the pjs tonight I put night gowns on them. I think part of the fussiness is they are sooo tired and hungry that all they can do is cry :)

Thursdays is normally the library day for story time but because of spring break they don't resume the story time until next Thursday I am sure the twins will be excited again and they may not care but it gives us something to do. Our neighbors across the street moved this summer and their house finally sold!! The people who are moving in have 4 kids a 7 yr old boy, twin girls who are 4 1/2 and I think a 2 yr old so its cool that there will be twins across the street.

My dad and brother are coming tomorrow from Minnesota so they wont be here until 6 ish tomorrow night but I want to get as much done tonight so I dont have to stress out tomorrow I have to get the bathroom upstairs cleaned, I am going to wait until the babies fall asleep and run up there and clean it quick (all I have to do is clean the tub) we have a vaporizer and when we empty it in the tub it makes a big mess.

I didnt mention it before but the twins are oficially sleeping through the night!! its wonderful!!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!! It seems like Easter is earlier and earlier every year, I remember when it used to be in April like right around the 1st or 2nd week. We were up early enough to go to the 1st service this morning and then we came home and tried to clean up the house a bit. Both babies were kind of fussy (particularly Kelsey) so I decided that we should go for a walk it was bit chilly out but we bundled the babies up well. Carson took a couple long naps and so we had issues getting him to sleep (he hung out with us downstairs while I ironed and Jim played on the Wii) I looked over and his eyes were getting heavy so I had Jim put him down. It will be interesting to see how long he sleeps he has been eating like a horse the past couple days today he drank a couple bottles that each had 7 ounces in them.

Headband

Look at my headband I am so cute!!!

This was the 3rd time I have put her in this and she really liked it and started jumping up and down a bit (when you jump up and down then the music and lights are activated). I have a video of this I will try and post but last time I tried to post a video it took forever to download.

Today I finished the last load of laundry that I put in lastnight before we went to bed, and then I went to the fitness center to workout and then to the associate store. This was the 1st time I had to wait in line at the associate store to get in but it was a Saturday and it was 8:45 and they don't open until 9. I got some Christmas lights and stockings for next year at good prices. Jim washed the cars today and I cleaned the house up a bit and made lunch to bring to a friend that had a baby last week so she doesnt have to stress out and make dinner and take care of a baby, husband and 2 1/2 yr old :). After that we went to Sam's Club and then came home and played with the babies. I put a headband on Kelsey we had gotten some as shower gifts and they were always too big for her head well now they fit :) she looks cute.

Friday

Dunning and Carson (Dunning has to be about 15 lbs now Carson is catching up).

Carson and Kelsey slept really well lastnight I think they went to bed at 8 and didnt wake up until 6. However Carson did wake up at 10:30 last night screaming turns out he had wet all over his pajamas, and his side of the crib. It was very nice of Jim to get him up and change him and feed him since before bed he only drank a couple ounces.

Also lastnight I told you that Jim put mulch down well we have these lights in the flower beds underneath our front windows well I was sitting in the office lastnight around 8:30 on the computer and I could smell something burning I thought maybe it was the computer or something outside. I was going to say something to Jim when someone was pounding on our front door it was our neighbor Bruce and my front flower bed was covered in smoke apparently some of the mulch was on top of the light and it heated it up and started a fire. Thank goodness Bruce was outside and helped us put it out (otherwise we would not have a house today).

I took the babies to Old Navy today, I need to get some "decent" looking clothes as I am still in between sizes and have a lot of rolls and curves in places that I didn't have before. I usually wear sweats during the day (around the house) but I need some shirts that really fit well. Some are still too tight and don't look right. They didn't really have a lot of things there today (usually I can find a lot of stuff there and the past couple times I have been there hasn't been a lot) I did get 2 short sleeve v neck long shirts, 2 3/4 sleeve shirts and a pair of shorts (Kakhi color) I have dark brown, white and kakhi (I rarley wear shorts but they are long enough that they will work).
Jim always makes fun of me because I wear a lot of button down shirts (long sleeve, and 3/4 sleeve) well I think they are comfortable and right now they seem to be working until my body gets back to somewhat normal ie... the rolls disapear. I read in parents magazine that walking while pushing a stroller is a good way to lose those last 10lbs (I have been walking with my neighbor Carla and her daughter Isabella) but we got off schedule this week due to rain and her having company in town. She did come by today but I was out running errands so she told Jim we will start up again next week.
I also and ran to Sams Club and Neighborhood market ( as we had no food in the house). I did get the babies some baby Einstein DVDs at sams it was a boxed set with 4 of them 2 dvds are for ages 3months and the other 2 are for 6months I cant wait to start playing them.

We went to Mikel and Lynns to hang out and we had ribs, beans and corn on the grill very good. We also played X box 360 I like Guitar hero however I cannot get past the 1st level I need to work on my guitar playing skills. The babies did a good job and had a lot of fun, we did not give them their baths tonight and just put them to bed in their clothes so hopefully they sleep well.

Thursday

Her dress says Little Princess (she is so a princess its not even funny) I can't believe how long she is getting I think she will be our basketball player :)
This is a whinnie the pooh outfit (kind of a 1 piece with shorts) I put a sweater on both of them today as sometimes it was cooler in the house. He was giving me the kissy lips :)
Yesterday I was reading out of a kids bible we got for a baby gift and I was reading Genesis 1:1 and this was her expression the whole time (very content and listening) I was very happy that she was enjoying the story.
She was winking at me

Today was really nice outside, compared to the rain and cold weather we have had the last couple days. Jim stayed at home today to do some evals so I took the babies on a walk in the neighborhood as they were getting fussy and he was needing to concentrate (I think they could sense he was home and wanted him to play with them) since he is normally not home like this during the week and on the weekends he isnt working so he plays with them.

Yesterday Lynn and I went to the mall in Fayetteville to walk all 3 babies (since it was windy out) and did that for a couple hours and of course I forgot it was spring break so all of the "teenie boppers" were there. I get a little annoyed going out with the twins not at the twins but at the stupid comments people make, I don't mind talking about the twins and answering questions but some people are rude about it. Or you walk by them and they make comments to whomever they are walking with (like oh they have twins or they have two and their hands full) I guess I shouldnt care but it just irritates me, its almost like they are talking about you behind your back.

The babies are really tired right now I keep telling Jim we need to bump back their bath time to 6:30 ish and give them their bottles by 7 but then he wont get to spend anytime with them when he gets home. (it's what we call the "witching" hour) So I guess we just have to listen to the loud whining and crying for awhile when he gets home at night. (This is why I am on the computer now and I have completley tuned it out).

Jim got some mulch today and mulched the front and back yard so all we have to do is buy flowers in April (after we are sure it isn't going to freeze anymore) and plant them. Since Jim was out doing the mulch all day I will probably plant the flowers all day when its my turn.

Lazy/Crabby Day

This was getting close to bath time, I put on one of the music channels on cable and I sang and danced for them. They were both amused, they were both moving their arms and legs trying to dance as well.
I gave her a bottle quick to run into the other room to get some dishes rinsed off and I came back to this I wonder how long it will last. ( I do not make a habit of propping bottles often but somedays I have to get things done).

Today was really not all that exciting since it has been raining all night and pretty much all day the babies were very lazy. We did do tummy time and sing songs and read books but they were really sleepy today, which is weird because they slept 10 hrs straight lastnight. I am hoping by them sleeping off and on today that they still sleep well tonight. Jim is out of town and was supposed to be gone Tue-Thur but is coming back tomorrow apparently he read his itinerary wrong (WOOHOOO).

It is Spring Break week so there is no story time at the library (it starts again April 3) also there is no church group tomorrow night. I was going to go to Ladies night out for my MOMS club (Moms of multiples) but I couldnt get a sitter (every one is out of town) oh well next time. It looks like I will be able to go to the MOMS meeting next week at the Jones center in Springdale though it will be my 1st meeting so I am excited to meet some of the ladies that I talk to on the message boards often.
I don't know if I have posted this or told anyone the babies are starting to COO and babble it started in the middle of February and with Carson saying ABU! Jim and I figured that means I love you. Otherwise Carson pretty much bables all day and Kelsey has started as well. I cannot wait until they start really talking :).
I forgot to mention what I got Lynn for her birthday on Friday I know I said I needed to wait to post it until after her party because I didn't want her reading this and knowing what her gift was before hand. I got her a blessing ring, you hang it on a door and you put blessings on the ring and every time you go in and out of the room you will know and remember how blessed you are. You can put your favorite bible verse on it, a certian memory anything!!! I thought it was neat idea, I have one but havent had time to put anything on it yet.

BONEFISH

This was taken lastnight after daddy got home and the "witching" hour kind of stopped, you can see they both are not happy here...
Look how BIG he is getting, his wrists are so chunky!!!
Lynns CAKE!! It waas very good :) I hope she enjoys the left overs
I was trying to get you to see how long her legs are here but she wouldn't keep them straight so this is what I got instead.

Lynn's birthday is really St. Patty's day so we celebrated it tonight, we went to BONEFISH to eat (girls night). It was nice to get out of the house the twins are going through a growth spurt or something and they were feeding every 2-3hrs today and both were very fussy :) by the time Jim got home and I was ready to leave the babies could hardly keep their eyes open.
I am not a seafood kind of girl so I had some pasta with chicken and portabella mushrooms in it it was really good and had alot of garlic on it :)

Thursday

Automatic Sprinkler is what the onesie says I decided to put this on him since I had to change him for wetting through his previous outfit. I also could use a change of clothes due to spit up on my shirt and pants but figure I will wait until later.

LIBRARY!!! Carson was a bit upset ( he is becoming very needy lately which is fine but hard when they both need you at the same time and I only have 2 hands) sometimes I wish I was an octopus with 8 arms :)
Carson,Kelsey and Isabella (she really wasn't sleeping I think she was faking for the camera)
Thomas came too!
There's Thomas he is 11 months old and he came to story time too!! He is very good with the little babies he wanted to touch I had to tell him not to poke at Kelseys eyes! I almost got a picture of him looking at Kelsey and patting her on her chest but I couldn't grab my camera on time.
The shirt says favorite things: Daddy, hugs, and Kisses I am also adding spit up! I was going to change her but its getting close to bath time so I decided to wait. She is so cute with those big eyes and chubby cheeks!!!

Today we went to story time at the library the babies did great!!! We then went to BLaRue (which I really love that store but it is a bit pricey) to get Lynn's birthday present (which I cant tell what it is until after tomorrow) I liked it so much that I ended up getting 1. We ran several other errands and then came home!

I am exhausted I was up at 5:30 to feed the babies ( they slept from 9 last night to 5:30) I never went back to sleep after feeding them I needed to organize the pictures on the computer and get them copied to the external hard drive and ordered prints at Samsclub.com. I send my pictures to samsclub.com and choose the 3 day pick up option its 13cents a print which is cheaper then the 1-hr which is 19cents a print. Well the babies had their nightly "witching" hour as Jim and I like to call it!!! it actually lasted for more than an hr tonight I think I have them both settled down now and hopefully they will take a quick cat nap and then it will be bath time and bed :)

The nice weather and the weekend

Jim got home from his long trip on Friday so we went to the Revenue office to get a new tag for the van, ( I really hate that place and it stresses me out so much) then we came home and I went to the fitness center to work out and picked up a movie at the redbox (I had a promotional code for a free movie) even though they are 1.00 a night per rental it feels good to get something for Free every once in a while. Then Saturday Jim went to our rental house in Fayetteville to take care of some landscaping, then we went to Craig and Sheryl's to drop them off dinner. Yesterday we were going to go to church but with the time change we were behind on stuff (like feeding the babies and getting ready) so we will definatley go next week. We went to Jim's grandpas in Missouri for a little while yesterday it felt good to have other people hold the babies (the house was so warm and the sun was coming in the front window that I honestly could have taken a "cat" nap on the sofa) Jim said he could have done the same thing so we decided to leave around 6ish so we stayed 3 hrs not bad..

Before that we stopped by Walgreens as they had a 2 for 1 in their sale bill and other good deals so I stocked up on Cokes 4 12 packs for 12.00, water 2 12 packs for 5, Peanut Butter and Jelly 3 for 5, Laundry detergent 2 for 7 (which I seem to be doing more of these days but thats okay I dont mind it I like doing laundry I consider it therapy), Ajax cleaner 3 for $1 and dish soap each 89 cents. So I only spent 33.00 with coupons not bad!! on the bottom of the reciept it said I saved 20.00 with coupons and instore savings... I just wanted to share the deals I got this week, I normally dont shop at Walgreens since its in Bella Vista but those were all items we needed and will use so for the money it was a good deal. The deals were better than Wal-Mart with the 10% discount.

I was just checking the forecast for this week and its going to be warm all week like in the high 60's except for today only 57 but that is still warm. I am planning on walking with the babies htis afternoon I am waiting to see if Isabella and her mommy are going to go too, if not I will still go its just nice to have someone to walk with.

I have a baby shower to go to tonight at Mimi's Cafe so Jim will be on his own but I agreed to get the babies fed before I leave so all he has to do is give them a bath and put them to bed. They have been sleeping 7-8 hrs straight now for the past week :) the bathing routine is helping. They are also going through a growth spurt and getting big.

I guess I have to post the pictures later at blogger seems to be having an error uploading them

BUNCO/LIBRARY TIME

Kelsey, Carson and Isabella at the library for story time (Isabella was not happy and wanted to get out of the car seat).
Every Thursday they have infant story time at the library it only lasts 15 minutes but I guess that is good as I cannot imagine an infants attention span any longer. Anyways I have a picture of the twins and Isabella (but I am too tired to post it) I will post it tomorrow. I also played BUNCO tonight and LOST!!! The last time I won something was in July when I was pregnant maybe that was a sympathy prize (hee hee) and I didnt play October-January so I guess I should give myself a break... I need to win next time :)

SNOW DAY and SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT?

Yesterday was a snow day and I wasn't sure if I was going to go anywhere in the morning, but by noon the snow had melted and the sun was out. So I decided to call my neighbor who has twin girls to come down and watch the twins so I could get my errands done. I was going to wait to go to the store and stuff until Friday when Jim gets home but decided that I wanted to spend time with him since he has been gone all week. I thought I would only be gone for a couple hours but ended up being gone for 4 hrs, they didn't mind and I got everything done.

I think the babies had so much fun with the twins because they were very ornrey (sp) when I got home and very restless. I finally gave them their baths about 7:45ish and fed them and put them down by 8:30 during their baths they could hardly keep eyes open. They didn't wake up until 4AM!!! Maybe this is a turning point and they are going to start sleeping through the night, I think the nightly routine of the bath is helping. Jim and I usually give them their baths later like 8:45ish, but I think we need to do them earlier because they have been so tired lately, like I want to start at 7:15-7:30ish and see how that works.

Tonight is Church group (which I didnt go last week we had to do childcare and I was so exhausted with Jim being gone and I didnt have a shower that day that I decided not to go). So I will go tonight, hopefully I will get some pictures then if not maybe tomorrow. We went for a walk today and I fed them when we got home (which was like 1:30ish) and they are still sleeping I am going to go run and get my food made for group tonight (while I still have a chance).

Friday,Saturday and Sunday

Grandma and her grandbabies (its hard to get 3 babies to all look at the camera) but I think it turned out great.
Carson and Dunning (Lynn had to go to a baby shower today so Paula (Jims mom and Dunning came over for a visit).
Addison Paige (I told you Jims cousin Sheryl had her baby on Leapday so she is our little leapling) she was 7lb 14oz. I am so glad she is here now Kelsey has a playmate in the family that is close to her age and is a girl. Granted there are a lot of babies but most of them are boys and not close to Kelseys age.
Lexi and her new cousin Addison she would not let anyone else hold Addison, when I was holding her she kept saying she wanted her back it was so cute.
Jims cousin Andrea and Lexi and Addison :)

March 1

Here's my little man so wide eyed everytime he sits in the bouncer he looks over at whoever is sitting in the chair (I think it was daddy).
Here's my Kelsey girl I should have moved the mobile out of the way but she was intently looking at it (I think thats why I snapped the picture and she was calm so I didnt want to disturb the calmness) she also has her pacifier in her mouth.
Here is Daddy and Carson this was last weekend at the Honda dealership, we had to take my van in so they could put on the items Jim negotiated in the deal. The items were all weather floor mats (which go over the carpet and mats already in the car so you just pull them out and hose them off we also have one in the trunk as well) they keep your carpet nice since we have tan interior now, wheel locks and splash guards. Kelsey was in her car seat sleeping and Carson wanted to get up and move around (he has been very, very active lately).

I have been walking with the babies alot lately since it has been so warm out, my neighbor Carla and her daughter Isabella and the twins and I walk. Its been really good because we have some steep hills in our neighborhood and having to push a stroller up them is a big job.(when you have the last 10 pounds or maybe a bit more to lose you have to work hard). Jim and I have talked about getting a walking stroller (those ones that have the big wheels on them) the 1 I want is at Wal-Mart and is like 250.00 I go back and forth on it. I think the stroller we have is fine and we can just replace the wheels when needed, as I cant justify spending the money on the walking stroller plus its probably heavier. No one in the MOMS club has one either (that they are willing to part with) one of the ladies in the group is looking for one also.
Yesterday was leap year day or whatever you call it and Jim's cousin Sheryl had her baby :) baby Addison. She was going to be induced on Sunday (tomorrow) I guess Addison couldnt wait and wanted to have a special birthday that we won't ever forget. We are probably going to see them tonight or tomorrow I debated calling her yesterday as I know when I was in the hospital I had a lot of visitors and didnt mind but it was almost too much with the phone ringing etc.. so I am going to wait until later this afternoon and call her or see if my mother in law has heard anything. I will get pictures when we see them and make sure to post a couple on here!
Jim is traveling and will be home tonight, today was the fishing opener at Roaring River normally I would go as Jim,Mikel and I went last year but I wasnt pregnant then and now with the babies I have no one to watch them. Jim missed it this year because of work I am sure they are all having a good time.
Last year I didn't do to well I usually catch my limit but I only caught a few last year (plus Mikel made me touch the fish) I don't like touching the fish I make Jim bait the hook and take the fish off I just cast the line (hee hee). I guess only brother in laws can get away with making me touch the fish without getting snapped at as you know if it were Jim I would be upset. :) Maybe next year we will go again the twins will be 1 1/2 by then and my MIL can maybe stay with them, as bringing them to Roaring River would not be good.
I hear movement in the other room after their 4-5am feeding I leave them down here (long story which I will explain later). So I should go check and see what that is all about
