Father's Day

Are you noticing that my posting has been less and less now that the twins are into EVERYTHING :). Love it and wouldn't change it however I do wish I could do more posting but oh well.

I will post some pictures later, I have some other things to do right now and don't have time for the slow computer to do its thing.

Saturday was the new session of swim lessons and the twins were in a NEW class. Now that they are 18 months they go in the 18-36 month class. It was so so I thought it was going to be the same teacher as last session (but it wasn't) it was some kid and we bascially did what we wanted with them and there was no structure.... I think Ms Jo teaches the 10:30 class (however thats kind of late for us) I will need to talk to Jim and find out and maybe ask Ms Jo next week if she teaches it. I guess the main thing is that the kids are in the water however it makes it hard to attend when there is really no structure whats the point of having a teacher there.

Then Jim got an Iphone the new one that came out on Saturday (he drove to the WM in Missouri) and told me I should get the older one. Everyone knows me and I don't like spending money and my intention and goal was to get a free phone, since mine was on its last leg. Every time I would close the cover it would turn off and then I would have to wait for it to turn back on. SO I got the Iphone too, I probably wont use it as much as Jim but its cool, you just have to learn to set limits. Since it has WIFI I dont have to get up from the sofa to come in the office to use the computer or go get the laptop. I still use the computers though because there are somethings I can do faster on here then the phone.

I will definatley be keeping the phone for a long time, since we doubled our bill (which makes me cringe in itself) I better use it for a long time :).

Today we attempted story time again and it went very well, better than I thought. I had been dreading going back because its right at their morning nap time (which I am trying to get rid of that nap) and thought they would be running all over the place. Carson only tried to escape a couple times other than that he sat in my lap or by me and watched and listened. Kelsey wouldn't sit down she would just stand there or walk around but she stayed in the circle I think we will go again next week. We won't be able to go when school starts again because I work at Church on Tues mornings and they are at MDO Wednesday mornings that they will miss it.

This afternoon I am taking Carson back to the dr. for a follow up on his ear infection he had a couple weeks ago. I also got copies of his records from Wellquest since I had to take him there a few times when I couldnt get in to the peditrician. He has had 3 so far, so if its still there today I am really going to have to bring up tubes again (I think it will be best for all if he gets them). He has been very clingy lately and not eating well which makes me believe he still has it. He cannot take Augmentin or Amoxicillian due to his penicilin allergy so maybe the meds werent strong enough... UH!!!

I will follow up later with an update on his ear and pictures

Updates

Sunday after church playing with daddys hat he was so happy about something
Pretty girl! Its funny they will play with daddys hat and have a good time but we try putting hats on them to wear when we are outside and they take them off.

My pretty girl again!!!!

DADDYS hat is cool

Papa and Tita got Kelsey this dress I love it she can still wear it to church and she can wear it to play in too. She loved putting it over her head all day long

Here they are eating their snack, as you can see they don't sit for long at their table unless you are sitting there with them. This is one of the outfits Tita got for Carson, Jim isnt to fond of the one pieces but I love them because they are light and comfy. They love GOLDFISH (this is our new snack now).

Here is a rainbow for a storm a few nights ago it may have been last Thursday or Friday I really cant remember. Jim and I had to go outside because the sky was literally orange I wanted to check it out.

We went to Dave Peel park a couple times when my mom was here. Its fun, I may do a picnic with the twins sometime and maybe Daddy can come when he is on vacation. There really aren't a lot of things for kids their age to do there its geared more for 5 and up but they like these swings when we can get them. They will attempt slides too! I think this was on a weekday so hardly anyone was there.

The twins are doing great, keeping me busy as usual. Nap time is pretty much the only time I get to clean up the house and get on the computer. We try to go to the fitness center every day or every other day and I am going to brave library time again and see how they do. Jim said he may be able to come to the library time to help me (since my kids dont sit still). It has been raining all morning, I left for the fitness center to go work out and it started raining when I got out on the main road I thought it would let up. It didnt so I sat in the parking lot at the gym for 20 minutes and decided to leave. There was no way I could get them out and try holding hand with an umbrella at the same time.

18 month appointment

No shots today for the twins (YES) they don't need them until there 2 yr visit.
Carson has an ear infection (which I figured because he was not napping well, not eating well, he kept falling yesterday) so we got some drops and an antibiotic for that. Also, their excezma has flared up bad to the point where Carson itched it open yesterday so she gave me a perscription for a stereroid ointment which we will try and see a dermatologist later.

Carson is 32 1/2 inches long and weighs 21 pounds, 10 oz
Kelsey is 32 3/4 inches long and weighs 20 pounds, 2 oz
We had to see the Nurse practioner because our Dr is going to Africa to be a missionary in January however has cut is hours back significantly. I did not make the twins 2 yr appt yet because Jim and I still are discussing where we are going. Probably to a family practice dr that our neighbors go to and have rave reviews.

I haven't really blogged on here about Kelsey but she rolls her eyes in the back of her head, now mostly when she is swinging and the Nurse said as long as she isnt blanking out she is fine. She may be doing it on the swing because she thinks its funny. Jim and I are supposed to watch her (I have never seen her do it) and if she blanks out for a minute or so then we need to see a neurologist so they can run tests and see if she is having seizures or not. The NP said a nurse will call us with a referral and appt. so we have to discuss that. I am praying its nothing but want to be sure we are doing the right thing.

My mom was here all week which I so appreciated I was able to sleep in and she helped clean the house, clean out the fridge, gave me time to do stuff with out the kids. I really appreciate her for coming to see us. She is coming back in August, now that she is retired she can stay longer :).
