Updates

The twins have been great, we have a busy week ahead of us. Next Saturday is our neighborhood garage sale bright and early. I am selling alot of their old baby clothes and hoping to get rid of them all, if not I will bring them out at the fall sale or give them to helping hands.
We still have to clean out the garage before the sale, set up before the sale. This weekend we have to mulch our backyard and get flowers planted (since we wont be able to do it next weekend). Saturday night we are going to our neighbor Michael's 40th birthday which starts at 5:30. Jim is running in the race for the cure (I think) next Saturday so my mother in law was kind enough to watch the twins for me while the sale is going on or Jim would have to miss the race.

That night is our annual neighborhood block party, where the POA officers are elected blah blah.. Last year I went just to hear who was going to do what and make sure I WAS NOT SELECTED TO DO ANYTHING and then I took the twins home and put them to bed. Thats my plan again this year, go for an hour or so then leave.

That's about it for now, nothing else new. Today its supposed to be in the 80's the twins are napping now so when they wake up we will go for a wagon ride and maybe swing. We have to be to church at 5 and I have to change their clothes (they always get dirty at Moms Day Out).

All of the grandbabies got nike sandals in their Easter Baskets from papa and Tita, Kelsey loved walking in hers and Carson enjoyed chewing on his.

We had a great Easter, we went to Church last night which I thought was a great service it was a bit intense at times (they did a re enactment of Jesus' death and his resurection).

We went to Swim lessons yesterday and the twins cousin Dunning is in their class this session so we got to see him to. Kelsey was so tired she was done half way through she wouldn't kick her legs or blow bubbles or anything she was done.

Today Carson woke up with spots all over him (like a bad rash) I had to take him to the Dr on Thursday because he was running a fever when he woke up and would not eat anything. Since he was battling an ear infection I wanted to make sure the antibiotics were working, they did check Kelsey too turns out she had an ear infection :) nice.. I hope we are done with ear infections for awhile like it would be nice if it would stay 70 degrees for more than 2 days at a time.

Anyways, I thought maybe his spots were fifth's disease (since the dr on Thursday thought he may have that) I ended up taking him to WellQuest after everyone left today and the NP said it was not fifth's disease but he had an allergic reaction to the Augmentin (for his ear infection). I thought that was odd since he was done with it today but she said it can happen while on the meds upto a couple days after being off them. She walked in the room and immediatley said you are no longer taking augmentin thats how direct she was. She told me to give him benadryl every 4-6 hrs and it should clear up with in 24-36 hrs. Poor baby, he was itching some of them and they got bigger when he woke up from his nap this afternoon.

Papa and Tita brought the twins a Radio Flyer sport coupe, they love it. The radio really works and you can push the buttons on the left and right and they make sounds like turn signals. It has a handle you can push them in it around the house so we have been doing a lot of pushing around the house its been fun.

What we have been up to

I was in the living room with Kelsey and I kept hearing a clicking sound, I went in and Carson had climbed in a box and was turning on and off the light switch. (daddy taught him how to do that and its cool for like 5 minutes then it gets old). The reason there are boxes in the office is we are trying to pack up books on the bookshelf and get them put away well they havent quite made it upstairs yet.

Daddy has only got to ride his 4 wheeler like 3 times since he got it and so he was taking it out for a spin this day. (oh poor daddy) :)

I took Carson back to the Dr on Friday (he wanted to check his ears and make sure the infection was gone) it was not. He still has an ear infection in his right ear but the other ear had cleared up. We got a stronger med this time and hopefully it will take care of it. Poor thing! and poor mommy :). Lynn and Dunning came over Friday since they closed the day care at the fitness center on Friday mornings until the hiring freeze is over which I hope soon since I really liked going on Fridays to my class.

Saturday we got pictures done at JC PENNEYS we were supposed to go to swim lessons but I do not take the twins on meeting Saturdays since they have to use a different pool and its never warm enough and there are too many people in the parking lot and I have to park really far. We are going this Saturday though it will be nice to get back into swimming again. Anyways Kelsey threw a temper tantrum in Penneys and we took the twins out to the car and I told Jim to go back in and order whatever he wanted I was not going back in there for awhile. The reason I know it was a tantrum is because she laughed and clapped her hands in her carseat.

I know I will not schedule pictures at 1:30 anymore, I will do it at 1o or 11 in the morning.

Daddy did get to take his 4 wheeler out Sunday with a friend from work (it was very cold) but he had fun.

We are still here

Sorry its been crazy! Last weekend Jim and I went to Hot Springs and left the twins with Paula and Floyd. Well really Paula since Floyd left for a business trip early Saturday morning. However he did spend alot of time with the twins on Friday. They went to one of the Curves for Women and Kelsey stole the show :) she walked in and started going from circuit to circuit and dancing wish someone had the camera for that.
I forgot our camera at home so I borrowed P&F's we didnt take that many pictures and will post them when we get them emailed to us.

I take Carson back to the dr tomorrow so he can check his ears (yes he had a double ear infection a couple weeks ago). I am thinking its back or something he is being very clingy and won't nap. We shall see what he says in the morning.
