Another Day

Today Steve and Teresa came over they are in our church group and they held the babies and we talked for a bit. I went to the fitness center (I just did a brisk walk, I am not doing anything to strenuous until I go back to the dr and he releases me to do other activities) I really need to get back into Tone and Tighten at the fitness center and maybe Yoga again.
Libby and Dan our neighbors brought over dinner for us (they were supposed to bring it last night but they got busy and forgot).
Wal-Mart has this thing called REDBOX where you can rent DVDs for 1.00 a day so I rented Stir of Echos 2 (for a $1.00 it wasn't that good and I wouldnt go out and buy the movie or anything) then we have also rented Spiderman3 which we are getting ready to watch.
Miss Kelsey is sleeping like a log right now and I am not going to wake her up ( I know you are supposed to keep twins on the same schedule but she obviously is not hungry and I don't want to over feed her as I am thinking that is what is leading to her GAS/Indigestion problems).
Jim is playing with Carson and Carson has no idea what to think :)
Well I will post more tomorrow (we are going to church and to a friend of Jims so they can see the babies)

Nothing too exciting

I don't have any pictures from today but we did finally take down the tree (it didn't take us that long this year because we got rid of a bunch of old ornaments and other things that were just taking up space this year). I wasn't able to use the I am pregnant excuse to get out of doing any work but its cool I took down the ornaments and the babies are still asleep (yeah).
Jim got a pre loaded debit card for Christmas from one of his regions so we went to WM and bought the 80gig IPOD I already have one that is like 2 years old but Jim wanted another one.
That is about all the excitement for today, maybe tomorrow will be more eventful right now I am going to go lay down and catch a nap.

Here they are!!! The happy family Mikel, Lynn and Baby Dunning!!!!!! Lynn actually took a shower, washed and dried her hair and had makeup on for this picture. Looking real good, Dunning was born yesterday 12/26 at 8:23pm and weighed 8lb,1oz Lynn was induced yesterday and the whole process started at 5:30am.

Jim and I were there yesterday from 1230 until about 930 lastnight and then went back today for awhile the twins did awesome today and I have some pictures of them with their new cousin.

Also, Lynns best friend Suzanne had her baby boy yesterday too! That is the neatest thing to have 2 Bestfriends having babies the same day. We love you Mikel, Lynn and Dunning and are happy you guys are in our lives.

Dunning made it into the world today (actually tonight) only we dont know what time Mikel thinks it was 8:15ish anyways he is 8lbs 1oz and very cute. Lynn was there since 5am so I can imagine she was exhausted. Jim and I didnt get home with the babies until almost 10 so I am exhausted and that is why I am also not posting any pictures :)
I am going to bed before the babies wake up again

I will post more tomorrow once I get an email from Mikel as to how everyone is doing

Merry Christmas

Look at their cute outfits had to get a picture!!! They will still wear these to bed even when its not Christmas, they are from Hannah Andersson (sp) my moms friend got them for us anyways she has other colors on her website if you like them and want to buy one or two.
Uncle Mikel (Jims Brother) holding Carson James, Mikel is estatic he and Lynn are having their baby boy (Dunning) tomorrow. They have to be at the hospital @ 5am like Jim and I had to Lynn wants the induction to go pretty fast so we shall see how long we will all be at the hospital :) we are excited for them we cant wait to be at the hospital to see his arrival. Lynn is at 39 1/2 weeks she was a week behind me and I delivered at 36 1/2 because of twins but my original due date was on Sunday so not that far off.
A very pregnant Lynn (Jims sister in law) holding I think Kelsey and my father in law is holding Carson anyways she still has her belly so she has a "shelf" to prop the babies on (until tomorrow that is) I have lost almost all of my pregnancy weight only 7 lbs to go before I get to my pre pregnancy size.
The beautiful family (which may I add has taken us 2 years to create, in fact before I found out I was pregnant I threw away all of my prenatal vitamins as I was done trying then the next day I had to dig them out because there were 2 pink lines) these babies are our blessings from God and I am staying at home with them and loving every minute of it. I was trying to hold up Carsons head we have some issues with him holding up his head but I know once he gets big enough he will hold his head up like his sister. Notice our basinett in the background for twins we have it right outside our bedroom for now until they get big enough to go upstairs to the nursery. The cool thing about the basinett (sp) is that it converts into a pack and play so it will be perfect for traveling and for naptimes down here.

The phrase "sleep in heavenly peace" this is the peace we get when Miss Kelsey is sleeping, she has an extremely loud cry becayse she is spoiled and wants to be held all the time :)

Jim and I got everyone webcams so I just got done talking to Bobby and Stacey and Dad and Charlie its really cool because you can see eachother when you talk, anyways I really need to make our bed and relieve Jim of baby duty and try to calm Kelsey down.
I will post more tomorrow especially pictures of the new baby Hancock...

Christmas Eve

Here is the wonderful tree that has been up since before Thanksgiving (like I think the 2nd week in Nov) because I didn't know when the babies were going to come b/c I kept dilating that I supervised Jim while he hung everything this year. Now that I have had the babies I will have to take everything down (yucko). We got rid of a bunch of old ornaments and other junk that I had collected over the years that I didnt want so it was kind of good Jim was in charge of this project because I would have held on to everything again. This isn't that great of picture I tried turning the lights on the tree and it didn't turn out that great I may take another one later.
There are already presents underneath it and the babies have their 1st presents underneath it as well, I am sure tomorrow more presents will arrive.
Tomorrows pictures should be better as the babies will be in several different outfits as I mentioned before they recieved 3 sets of Christmas outfits and I have to take pictures of them in all so I can send a picture to those who gave us the outifts. Plus the rest of the family should be here tomorrow :)

BABIES FIRST TIME AT CHURCH

Here are there church outfits (A neighbor got these for me for a shower gift so I thought they would be cute to wear to church).

We went to church today, we were going to go lastweek but because of the ice we decided to stay home. The babies did really, really well at church like no melt downs or anything, Kelsey did start her scream (as usual) but I fed her and then she went back to sleep. We then went to Olive Garden for lunch (our wait was only 15 minutes) for a Sunday that is good, we had a gift card from Lynns parents so we decided to use it and the babies slept through it all. I could tell they were glad we were home though as I think it was too much for them today.

Jims grandpa called from Monet/Purdy area and said they were on there way to come see the babies they were going to come a long time ago but have been under the weather and did not want to get the babies sick, they stayed for 3+ hours just holding the babies and everything.

Finally mom and I with the babies in front of the Christmas tree, she doesnt know this but we are giving her one of these pictures of her with the babies for a Christmas gift. We picked out a frame together the other day and I told her it was a frame for Lynn (quite sneaky) she will be thrilled.
Well my dinner is ready our neighbor brought over Wild rice soup and I am exhausted and will head to bed after dinner. The babies have been sleeping all day I hope they sleep well tonight :)

SANTA CLAUS

Today we went to the mall to see SANTA CLAUS!! (this is the best picture we have as they both were woken up and they had no desire to have their picutres taken so they started fussing in the other pictures. I am probably crazy for bringing 3 1/2 week old babies to see Santa (after all what are they going to remember) but it was fun and cute. I thought we were going to have to get pressured into buying the pictures they take for you but they said we were not obligated (Which was good as I could use my camera free of charge).

We then went to the fish city grill for lunch since Jim's boss gave him a $50.00 gift card we all ate the tilapia (Sp) it really wasn't that good I had to dab mine into ketchup to make it have flavor I probably won't order that again. About half way into it the Salmon with pasta was looking really good (I am not a seafood person to begin with but I can tolerate some fish). The babies slept throughout the whole lunch in their car seats and no one made any comments or stared.

We went to JC PENNEYS afterwards as my mom wanted to look for a sweatshirt and we had to feed the babies there as they were at their breaking hunger point. So I went back to the shoe department and sat down on the chairs and Jim and I fed them, this is where people stopped and wanted to know all about the twins. I don't mind the questions I just hate the comments "are they identical", "are these your only children", "you have your hands full". Duh to all of those! Of course I wasnt snotty and rude I just told them the answers I know some people don't think before they speak. We then had to leave I bypassed changing diapers in the restroom there and just headed home (we weren't that far) plus I needed to get them out of their Christmas outfits (WHICH I HAVE 3 SETS of different Christmas outfits which we need to take pictures of them in for all the people who gave them to us).

Shopping Escapade/Hanging around the house

Carson in his swing, boy he looks like he is having a blast!! This swing is a life saver it keeps them calm we also have the bouncer which works miracles as well.

Daddy,Mommy and Kelsey

Mommy and Kelsey she actually smiled (a little one) for this picture, she is going to be our firecracker (just like her mommy). The reason I say that is she has a very HIGH PITCHED scream and she does it until you giver her what she wants like if shes hungry. I love her cheeks

Jim took these last night I love the pacifiers called (soothies) from the hospital, I tried giving them other pacifiers but they won't take them only these ones.

(here is the aftermath picture of shopping)

So today we ventured out and went to the Pinnacle Hills shopping mall (I have become an expert at opening the double stroller and popping the car seats in) which is a milestone as the stroller is very frustrating to operate. I should be a professional and manuever it with 1 hand by the end of the week.

HOSPITAL PICS

Jims parents with Miss Kelsey (these are the 1st grand babies so they are excited)
Mommy with her new babies (I am really exhausted in this picture and am on pain meds so I am on top of the world) this day we had a ton of visitors and I slept like a log

New daddy and his babies

Okay so I am behind on these posts but here are some pictures of these guys at the hospital when they were born.

Kelsey Ann 5lbs 9 oz born 11/29/2007 7:44 am

Been a long time

It has been a long time since I have posted anything on here, I guess I got very overwhelmed with pregnancy and the babies that I completley spaced it out. Anyways here is an update (I only have a few minutes as I don't know when these monsters will wake up) I had the babies on 11/29/2007 Kelsey was born at 7:44 am and was 5lbs 9oz and Carson was born at 7:47 am and was 5lbs, 6 oz. I am recovering great (I only had to take pain meds for a couple days) I still take the motrin now and then but the vicodin I have weaned myself off of.

Here is a pic of the babies (Jim was messing around one day and decided to take a bunch of pictures) they are doing well and they keep me very busy.

The 2nd picture is of me the night before we went to the hospital to have our babies (as you can see I was very very big and I really didnt know how big my belly was until I looked at these pictures. Of course I looked in the mirror but I really didn't get huge until the last 2 weeks where I gained about 10 lbs.
