Roaring River Day

We are such bone heads we took no pictures at Roaring River today (probably because the babies were tired and fussy). We went to Roaring River for a family reunion for Paula's family we had food and fun and it was nice out.

We went to see Jims grandma and grandpa in Purdy afterwards then home, the babies did not sleep in the car on the way home but they did take their baths and go to sleep right away :)

So I hear Carson laughing hysterically in the living room and Jim had him kicking the ball

Her outfit says moviestar I thought my sunglasses would stay on her head so I could snap a picture but they are too big I had such a great picture of it in my mind but this will do.
Look at Carson with his paci, everyday we go outside (when its not raining) and sit in the garage for 30 minutes or so. It has been hot but I feel so cooped up all day long that sometimes the fresh air does me and them good. While we are out there the elementary school bus drops off the kiddos so we usually chat with the mommys waiting for the bus for a few minutes.

Happy 9 month Birthday

The twins are 9 months today!!! I cannot believe it only 3 more months until they are 1 (that is really unbelievable). Hopefully Carson is crawling or walking by the end of this month he is soo close to crawling while Kelsey girl has no desire but she may surprise us and start walking some day.

Bring it on

So our renter called Jim yesterday and I could hear her yelling at him through the phone, Jim could not get a word in at all. She is going to sue us for her measley(sp) deposit back $500.00 (which is all she gets, since there is a non refundable pet deposit and we automatically keep $300.00 for cleaning) she thinks since she hired a cleaning company and paid to have the carpets cleaned she should get all 800.00 back. She even went as fas as calling Element realty (which no longer exists) to say she was misrepresented and bla bla and wanted to know if they had her deposit which they dont if she had let Jim talk last night she would have known this.
I think she is blowing off steam but if not and she wants to sue us fine BRING IT ON LADY!!!! we will counter sue for the carpet and a couple other things.

Its 5:00 and Carson finally went down for a nap I have no idea what his deal was but he would only sleep 20-30 minutes and wake up crying hysterically I had to take them on a car ride to get him to calm down (I tried everything teething medication, gas drops, teething rings, tylenol) a bottle nothing worked finally I put him down and he went to sleep. Now his bedtime will be all screwed up but oh well an extra 30 min isnt going to kill me or him.

I think this was Monday miss Kelsey did not get her picture taken hardly at all because she was teething bad and was so fussy (Like I don't want to ever do that again fussy).
He is eating a mum mum I found them at Wal-Mart yesterday and he really likes them they dissolve in their mouths so I don't have to worry about him trying to bite into it. I want to start having the babies hold things like food between their fingers for long periods of time.

The babies especially Kelsey have not been napping that well this week so I have not had time to be on the blog and get really much of anything done. I have managed to get laundry done today and some things picked up yesterday but other than that not to much.

I have no clue

I have no clue where the time has gone since I last posted all I know is I have been very busy and tired. The DVD player quit working on Monday which is odd because I used it on Friday we have another one in our room but that would require moving it and its in a tight spot so its impossible. Luckily our neighbors sold their house yesterday (after only being on the market 1 week) she is a clean freak and clean is what sells (ours sold in Minnesota for the same reason). So he is selling his DVD player and its the one that Jim wants that has the HDMI or whatever anyways we are getting that tonight so my babies can finally start watching videos again.
I will post more info and pictures later the babies are napping so I have to get some things done

Library

Library day today of course I forgot my camera so Carla took these pics. I cannot believe it Isabella is doing the army crawl the babies arent quite there yet. I have more pics that I took of the twins today but don't have time to post I am headed to bunco I will post later.

Carsons TOP TEETH and Miscellaneous

I was feeding Carson a bottle yesterday and noticed some white stuff on the top of his gums at first I thought it was formula but then I looked again and he has his 2 front teeth that pushed through the gums so now he has 4 teeth. Kelsey Belsey has none but has the swollen gums instead.
There is this cool website http://earth911.org/ if you ever need to recycle or get rid of paint, car batteries etc. you can go to this website and it will give you the list of phone numbers of places that get rid of those things for you.
Update on the stains on the carpet: Apparently our renter put down a RED persian rug and water spilled on it and the dye bled onto the carpet. Well the carpet people told her they would TRY to get it out but could not guarantee anything and they tried and it did not work. YEAH for me since I wont have to go up there and clean the carpets (I still have to vacuum and clean up the stuff from Jims painting) but other than that we are good. Now we are pricing wood flooring to see what that is going to cost. In doing so today I was told by a couple places I called that we need to do a Vinyl plank flooring which looks awesome and looks like real wood has a long warranty and is waterproof. If something happens to a board you can pop it out and replace it easily so that may be the way to go. They said especially for a rental property when you know it isnt going to get the best care. The renter is still arguing about her deposit and the carpet cleaners have told her 2 times they cant do anything she isnt getting her money back etc.. plus he told Jim her story keeps changing.

OMG

Here is my OMG (OH my GOSH) for the day, so I am at the paint store getting trim for the rental and there is this lady in there. I had the babies in the stroller and they were very good just playing and babbling, anyways the lady asked me what their age difference was. So I thought about how I wanted to answer that quickly, I thought about saying they are 3 minutes apart which is the truth. Then I thought maybe I should tell her they one is 5 months the other is 7 months (I just incubated one of them longer). Maybe she thought one was mine and I was babysitting the other, I don't know but really why would you ask that (that isn't the 1st time someone has asked me). I politley told her they were twins and they are 8 months old, then she asked are they both girls or boys (he was wearing blue she pink) and even if they weren't he looks like a boy and she a girl. At least after telling her that she didn't ask if they were identical (now I know the response for that one) and it is they are identical from waist up. One of my fellow MOMS (Mothers of Multiples) told me thats how she handles that question and people generally get the idea.


The babies did not nap well, we went to the fitness center then came home and napped for maybe 45 minutes then they woke up to eat and we had to go to the rental to meet the termite inspector, then I had to go get paint for the trim and a screen at national. Oh yeah I forgot to go to Sams and get Jim's allergey medication (sorry). Some positive news, a neighbor is going to buy the fridge from the rental so we made 100.00 whoo hoo!! Cathy I did get your message about the carpet stuff, I can't find it here I appreciate the call if I had more time to dink around with it I so would I am going to try the rug dr on Saturday and go from there :). Hopefully since the rug dr is hot steam I can set it on the stain and it will pull it up who knows its worth a try.

Jim priced bamboo today at Sams and we could do the living room and hallway for 1000.00 but we would have to install it ourselves. I havent told Jim yet but I think you can call National or any of those places that contract that out and they can give you numbers of people that would do it and probably cheap since the housing market isn't great and they may need the work, we shall see. He is painting there right now I just got done pulling up my impatients (which I thought I would have time to water this year)I think next year I am planting Dianthyis (sp) or petunias that don't require alot of tlc.

No pictures today since we were sooo busy I had the babies bathed and in bed by 6:15 Jim was kind of bummed out since he had a meeting that ran late and didnt get home until 6, but they need their sleep just like mommy does. I was talking to Jill today and she said Madison started kindergarten (yr round starts a week early) and she got nap time I said to Jill gee I wish I had nap time.. Oh well its all worth it!!!

Maybe pics tomorrow we shall see how we do, we have nothing going on just walking in the morning with Carla and then I think we are going to stay close to the house since we have done a lot of driving this past weekend.

Rental House and Missouri

Who does this?? If it had been cleaned up right away it may have came out the fact that is in the center of the room doesnt help if it were on a side it could be covered up with a tv or chair but its the 1st thing you see when you walk in the room thats why I am upset.

So our renter moved out on Friday so Jim and I went up there on Saturday to check it out. Now she paid Merry Maids to come in and clean they didn't clean baseboards or cobwebs and the kitchen floor was filthy (however they did clean the bathrooms so I didn't have to do that). She also paid a carpet cleaning place to come out and clean the carpets (since she said she had a couple stains)which I thought SWEET no work for me :) I guess Jim and I thought we would just have to paint a few walls and be done. OH NO!!!! Jim has to repaint the WHOLE HOUSE!!

Plus he has to touch up trim I dont know how the trim got all knicked up and dirty (like smudges that I cant clean off) nailpolish or something on one of them. Here is the worst part, there are like 5 red spots on the carpet (well now they are pink) but they are there. I tried scrubbing last night and today with no luck you can still see them and no one is going to rent it for the price we want with the carpet looking like that my stomach is in knots about it.

I know its a rental and expect wear and tear but not like this, and in the past I have had spots on the carpet but have gotten them out. She also smoked in the house so I have to rent a rug doctor now and see if I can try working on these stains again and maybe it will lift the smokey smell out. She did leave the fridge so maybe we can sell that and make a quick 100 bucks!! Jim was there until 4:30 am painting and has 3 rooms and the laundry room left he went and taped today so he can paint this week. SHE DOES NOT GET HER DEPOSIT BACK and JIM WILL HAVE TO TELL HER!! Now we are debating the laminate flooring there, then we will have to say no pets because it will get scratched but it would be so much easier to clean then carpet. I think the wood would be good for resale since we will always have competition and we need to be better than that.

Mikel, Lynn, Jim and I and the babies went to see Jim;s grandpa today in Purdy. We met them at pizza hut in Cassville (very very busy) and then went to their house for awhile. Carson almost crawled today he was up on all fours and would move one leg but couldnt figure out what to do with the other one so he would fall over. Well I just needed to vent since my stomach is upset because of Carpet and I get to go up on Sat and clean it so Jim can stay home with the babies no more burning the midnight oil like we used to do (Jim still can but I cant).
