Not a happy bat princess she was so tired and would not take a nap ( this is her typical look though). The happy Lion cub behind her is having fun, I had to snap the picture before he took the hat off. She was happy at Jims work so maybe she just needed a break from mommy or something :).

Happy Halloween!

We went to the fitness center this morning with out our costumes on becuase I didn't know how they would handle it with their costumes on all day. We went to see daddy at work today and walked around we got a couple suckers but thats it. We are going to have them lick them tomorrow and see if they like it.

Tonight our neighbors had a get together outside we went over there and ate some food and chit chatted then that broke up as people went home to get ready to trick or treat. Mikel and Lynn dropped Dunning off so they could get a bite to eat, and the babies crashed out.

Happy 11 months

I left the room just for a second and this is what I find, I guess the toys I had out weren't good enough.

Very tired here and refusing to nap :)

My BABIES are 11 months old today I am totally shocked on how fast it has gone by and that this time next month they will be 1 officially toddlers.

They did not nap at all today, maybe thats the sign of whats to come :). We had a good day other than it being freezing this morning but by this afternoon it was nice and we went for a walk.

I have a couple videos but Jim is at his University of Phoenix training and has my laptop and for some reason I cannot download videos on this SLOW computer so as soon as he gets home or tomorrow sometime I will put them on here.

Sick/University of Phoenix

So I made an appt today to get Carson in to see the dr since he hasn't been feeling well the past couple days. A couple of the girls at story time said he didnt look that great (like maybe an ear infection or something). He had all the symptoms of an ear infection minus the fever. He pulled on his ear, runny nose, doesn't want to nap or fusses when laying down etc.

So after waiting 30 minutes for the dr (I almost packed up and left since Kelsey was getting fussy) turns out its the stomach flu. The dr said it has been going around like crazy, I told him that come to think of it a lady in my moms group emailed the group yesterday saying she had it and knew of someone else who did and their child had to be hospitalized for dehydration. He told me to give him tylenol and motrin and plenty of fluids and it will have to work itself out. Nice!!!! Now I dont feel that great either and I think Kelsey has the stomach flu as well now because of her diapers. I swear the drs office knows us by name we have been there so much this year, also we go tomorrow for their flu shot booster.

Also they didnt have a NAP today at ALL so they were really tired, like Jim couldn't play with them when he got home (usually he plays with them for 30 min or so) but not tonight poor babies. I have a video of Kelsey laughing over nothing (or I cant figure it out) I will post it tomorrow.

Jim got a pt teaching position at the University of Phoenix he starts training on Wednesday (4 Wednesdays) then he teaches a class with a mentor. I am so happy he gets to do this, it will look great on his resume.



Today the information on the MOMS day out program came, I am excited. However starting the beginning of December I will have to pack them a lunch so I have no idea what to pack them (well I know their milk in sippy cups) since we will be experimenting with different foods since they wont need the baby food anymore. I was thinking yogurt, fruit cups (with water only), cheese and bread maybe!!! I will have to research it and just go with it. The first few weeks while in the class they will bring baby food.

Kelsey Crawling

You can't really tell here but Kelsey has curly hair (or at least wavy for now) when you look at her though she has some curls behind her ears. I had natural curly hair when I was a baby/toddler we shall see how curly it gets.

Yesterday Dunning came over I watched him while Lynn had an appt the twins were sleeping for most of the time he was here. I guess the entertainment center is appealing to all Hancock babies.

Miss Kelsey is crawling, however she is no where near as fast as Carson but at least she is doing it now. She is also trying to pull herself up to copy her brother :).

I think Carson has another ear infection he woke up off and on last night (I heard him on the monitor) but never went up there. Then today he was very fussy and every time I laid him down to drink his bottle or drink out of the sippy cup he cried. I am going to see how it goes tonight/tomorrow morning and get him in if needed. He does not have a fever and is not pulling on his ears so it may just be teeth but who knows.

Lynn invited us to the pumpkin patch today but with Carson being VERY VERY fussy this morning and I had loads of laundry to do and some housework to do I decided to pass. It was also around their morning nap time and I knew they wouldn't sleep if we were there. (I think we may be slowly weaning out the morning nap).

Bathtub video

So instead of having you have to click on Lynn and Mikels blog I just linked the bathtub video. When we were at Mikel and Lynn's on Saturday night we put all of the babies in the tub for their bath. Carson and Kelsey did a great job for the 1st time in the big tub (its easier for us to use the baby tub still for them) but they have officially graduated now.

Twins pjs

I am not doing anything really mom I'm not :) (he has trouble written all over him).

When we were in Minnesota back in July my cousin had got the twins Minnesota Twins pjs they are so cute on them thanks Amy.

He goes over to this picture album now and points at his and Kelseys picture, I tried to take it while he was actually pointing this is the best I could get. He actually would touch the picture with his finger, he only does it to that picture right now so it makes me wonder if he has figured out it is him and Kelsey on the front.

Elmo Live

Elmo Live came yesterday, it was so cute I took it out of the big box and had it sitting in its box on Jims chair and I pushed on its foot. Carson was grinning from ear to ear and trying to get the box out of my hand. I opened it carefully (in case we decide to sell it on EBAY we want to keep all of the original packaging). Once I got it out of the box they weren't so interested :) I talked to one of my neighbors and she said they like boxes at that age. I have pictures however they are on the video camera and I haven't figured out how to put them on the computer yet so Jim and I will need to work on that tonight.

Jim and I are going to sign the babies up for a MOMS day out program next month, we are going to meet with the director the 1st part of November to tour the facility, meet the teachers and make sure its where we want the babies to be. I am sending them to Southside church of Christ in Rogers and it is very reasonable its only $75 a month for both babies and thats 1 day a week (9-1). It is only 10 minutes from the house too so I dont have to drive all across town. Other places wanted $65 a month for one child and no discount for the 2nd. This one is charging half price for the second child plus a girl from church has her son going there and she loves it. Also I will be able to get my shopping done during the day (NOT AT 7pm when I am a zombie at that point).

We went camping over the weekend it was the babies first time they loved it! Of course, they love being outside. Friday night it took us awhile to get them to go to sleep because they were not used to their surroundings Saturday went much better.

She's Waving

Here we are fighting over toys, Kelsey gets really upset if Carson takes a toy away from her she cries and screams. I tell her she is going to have to get used to it because after the 1st of the year I plan on putting them in a MOMS DAY OUT program 1 or 2 days a week. I am checking into some places and their rates etc. we shall see.

For sometime Jim has tried to get Kelsey to wave, about a month ago we were leaving church and she was waving to everyone (it was so cute). So she would do it off and on and Jim would hold her up to the mirror and have her wave then today I think it clicked and she will just wave and not have to look at herself in the mirror to do it. We go camping tomorrow we will see how the babies do we may be packing up on Saturday I have a feeling though they will like it (they like being outside).

Behind on Posting

Hmm if I could only figure out how to get the magazines out of the rack I could play with them and make a big mess for mommy to clean up. :)
He moved for this picture but any time Kelsey is in the jumperoo he tries to pull himself up on it she thinks its funny. By the time I snapped this picture he put his butt on the ground.
Today Carson tried to stand or something, he put both hands on the ground and his legs as well but his body was like he was doing a sit up or plank I think he saw me standing up from sitting on the ground and was trying to copy me.

I just realized it has been awhile since I posted, sorry we have been really busy. The babies did not NAP well at all yesterday therefore MOMMY was really TIRED..... They did much better today!
