Happy 6 month Birthday babies

Notice the bib the drool has not stopped however it looks like the antibiotics are working as his nose has been draining and I have been able to get out alot of goop.
She was just reaching her feet right before this not sure what she is thinking here, she has had her hands in her mouth all day.
I tried to get him to look up here I got him with his eyes closed, note a different outfit then before we had a major blow out in his diaper and I had to change him. This was also pushing 5ish and they both refused to take their afternoon nap so they were VERY,VERY FUSSY here :)

Carson's Ear

So I called the drs office and got an appt for 9:45 not with Dr Foster but with another Dr. I took the appt as I didnt care what dr as long as he could get seen today. Turns out Carson popped an ear drum, he said its common and that his congestion probably traveled up to his ear and eventually popped due to all the pressure. I felt horrible since I waited so long to bring him in, the dr said it would not have mattered they would not have been able to catch it until it popped anyway. So now he is on amoxicilian twice a day for 10 days and that should take care of it :) we go back on Monday for their 6month and he said to remind the dr to have it looked at then. I am hoping this is not going to lead to tubes in the future (he said this will heal on its own) I do need to ask Dr Foster if he will be able to participate in swim lessons (I would think he would be able to) and we will just have to watch his ear.
I did get Carson's weight and he is 15lbs 12oz ALMOST 16lbs! uh!!! BIG BOY :) he has come along way since his 4lb days. It will be interesting to see if he gains anymore between now and Monday.
I don't know if I posted on here previously about the Revenue office and the van a few months ago we got a letter stating they never recieved the loan paperwork (we gave it to the girl when we got our tag) but apparently it wasnt the signed copy. The bank we used to get the loan is in MN and they don't get how Arkansas works (or the fact they make it so difficult) then last week we got a letter from the state saying that they needed a letter from the bank (ON THEIR LETTERHEAD) apparently the state got a letter from the bank but it wasnt on the letterhead. Like someone would have the time to make something up like that anyways the letter needed to state that they can title the car in Jim or my name. So I finally got that faxed over today (which woke Carson up from his nap) at least it is all done she did call me back and said they would release the title. I don't think we will be buying a car again for awhile and if we do Jim will just put it in his name or make sure the loan has both or names on it (thats what got us all messed up).
It looks like its going to keep raining all day! It had stopped when I left Sams club with the prescription (and my babies in shorts) so people were looking at me like I was crazy since it wasnt hot nor cold like 65ish.
On a funny note... I was getting Carson out of his carseat (he was asleep) so I was trying to be careful and quiet and Kelsey shot her head up out of her carseat and started looking at me but she couldn't keep her eyes open so she kept cracking them shut and then opening them again and pulling her head back it was funny and I started laughing!!! the things they do to crack us up!

Busy Weekend

They both love the yellow block because it has the duck on it that quacks he was trying to see if it tasted good as well no he didnt pick the block up off the floor he did take it out of my hand though.
Look how good he is at his head his onesie says smallest fan (razorback) however he constantly drools and so I always have to put him in a bib otherwise the front of his shirts are soaked. Jim was working out doing some sit ups or something and Carson was trying to copy him he would put his head down on the floor then raise it up, down, up same as what daddy was doing (kind of)

Why do we try to pack so much in on these holiday weekends? Friday night Jim and I went with 2 other couples to hear their RVP's band play I had no idea his RVP played the guitar. Anyways it was out in Cave Springs at some guys house by the pool, Saturday we just hung around the house and Sunday Jim went canoeing with some neighbor guys and then we grilled out lastnight. Today we didn't do anything it rained off and on all day so we pretty much cleaned and relaxed. We did get our front door stained (we were going to do it ourselves but it was going to be alot of work) so we found someone to do it dirt cheap and we dont have to do the work ( he came Saturday and should finish tomorrow).

Carson's congestion is getting worse, I didn't take him to the dr because he got better and it went away for about a week and now its back full force where he is having problems breathing at night. I also noticed his ear is draining or something because there is green stuff that dries up in it and I am afraid it may be an ear ache. I am going to have to call the drs office tomorrow morning I was just there last Monday for Kelseys rash and will be back next Monday for their 6month and thought I could wait it out until then but I don't want to take anymore chances after seeing the green stuff. Hopefully I can get in tomorrow I will have to start calling at 7:55 like I did the last time so I can be 1st in the cue which will increase my chances of getting in.

BTW I forgot to mention Carson is getting SOO big and heavy that he literally does not fit into any of his 3-6month stuff anymore last week he fit into onesies and stuff just fine this week NO. I put a onesie on him lastnight to sleep in since it was hot and Jim could barely get it snapped so I cleaned out his drawer today and put away the 3-6month onesies that he wore like twice. I had already put away most of his 3-6month outfits and started putting him in 6 month or 6-9 months. UH!! Kelsey is getting big too but she fits just fine in her 3-6 month stuff maybe because she is long and skinny.

WII Fitness/American Idol

This was yesterday she was reaching for the toys and almost had them in her hand but then would drop them. I tried to show her how to put them back but she would just drop them on the floor next to her or look at me weird. SHE IS SOO SMART :)

This morning I went to tone and tighten at the fitness center and of course she did legs again (lunges)uh!!! I hate lunges but they work so I guess I can't complain. Lynn called me and her and Dunning came over and we walked around the neighborhood before it got too hot out it was a good time. She stayed after our walk for awhile so we could sit and visit (some adult conversation).


My Wii Fitness came in I AM SOO super excited that I met the UPS man on the steps also I didn't want him ringing the doorbell since the babies were napping. I did my 30 minutes with it tonight so I am done for the evening, I know what areas I need to focus on. OF COURSE MY BMI is not where it needs to be hopefully it will get where it needs to be soon. I will do it everyday in combination with my tone and tighten and my walking.



BTW I picked them up on Monday at the nursery at the fitness center and she was crying and apparently got all the babies in the room crying I told the girl thats my KELSEY GIRL!!!

I am flipping back and forth between American Idol and a movie on lifetime on the finale night of American Idol I only like to watch the end to see who wins I don't care for all of the othe stuff. I hope David Cook wins he is more mature than David Archuletta and I think he is a good singer. However at this point in the game they both are stars and will both get a record deal regardless.

Kelsey's Rash/Swimming lessons

So Kelsey developed a rash when Jim and I were in Vegas it was just behind her legs and on the creases of her arms. We thought it may have been the lotion we were using so we switched and started using Eucerin (the thick stuff) well that didn't help it made it bigger. I kept thinking it will go away so I didn't call the drs office right away. I asked my neighbor last week and she said that she thought maybe it was some kind of fungus and to call the drs office. I called and the nurse said to put lotion on it and a lot of vaseline and call her on Monday if it didnt get better. Well I called today and got her an appt for 9:15 its one of those deals where you have to call right at 8am and be ready to go because they usually have openings first thing (depending on how fast you can get there) turns out the dr thinks it may be eczema. I thought maybe it was because it is in the areas where eczema forms but it looked worse then just a rash, he prescribed some steroid cream and told me to use it on her twice a day along with the lotion and vaseline (he said to put it all on thick).

It doesn't seem to bother Kelsey at all no itching and pain (thats why I wasnt to eager to call because she wasn't in pain) and we go back June 2nd for their 6month check up that I thought I could hold out until then but her skin was looking really RAW in the area with the rash.
I normally go to tone and tighten at 845 on Monday, Wed and Fridays so I just went to the fitness center after the dr and worked out on the eliptical machine for 30 minutes, then to Sams to get the prescription filled.

Turns out Sams club has pulled all their Members mark wipes and diapers because they are repackaging (thats what the kid said who works there) I asked Jim to check with the buyer to see if they are repackaging and when they expect to have them back in stock. Now they have pampers/huggies wipes and they are $2.00 more for a box and the box only has 600 or so wipes the MM have 720 maybe Sams will honor the MM pricing (Highly doubtful but I will ask the next time I need them). I wonder if this repackaging has to do with what I heard on the news that all products are being repackaged with smaller qtys for the same price or more due to the failing economy.

Sams Club has recalled their members mark wipes with the lot number 08-102 check your box and bring them back to the club if yours are affected apparently they can mold. NICE!!! Good thing my box is okay :)

I won't have pictures today because Jim has the camera he went to Kansas City to see the WWE raw he and a few other guys from work took a special needs guy they work with to see it (he likes wresling) they took my van so I have been driving the truck (not used to it so it was a rocky ride at first). We are going to record the show its on USA @ 7pm I am going to look for Jim he said they are like 6 rows up from the main floor so maybe the camera will spot him out :) he wont be home until like 1 or 2 am and plans on going to work tomorrow so we shall see.

I am soo excited I got the twins in the baby and me swim lessons at the fitness center and I got into the Saturday class. SinceJim travels during the week and the other classes were offered during the week we needed a Sat class. Monday would have been my 2nd choice but Saturday is so much better the classes start June 1st I needed to wake up at 5am to call the aquatics director and have her manually put them into the system since they aren't 6months yet (at the time of registration) so I couldn't use the automated system. She put them in and we are good to go!! Also because it is summer session they told me I needed to call 1st thing because the classes will fill up fast. They will do baby and me from 6-17 months and then another baby and me 18-36 months, I am hoping they will enjoy it the pool may freak them out a bit. Kelsey loves taking her bath she kicks her legs and splashes water around all over so we are thinking she will love it (we shall see).

I have decided to start going back to the fitness center to Tone and Tighten since I have some areas I need to tone up. The class is Mon,Wed and Fridays and its only 30 minutes so I can leave the babies in the childcare for that amt of time.

Lynn came over on Friday and we walked around the neighborhood, Saturday was the neighborhood block party at 5:30 at night the babies slept most of the time and I left about 730 to get them bathed and in bed. Today has been lazy the babies have been sleeping and Jim and I have been cleaning out closets and doing projects outside.

I put the babies in the stroller WITHOUT car seats today for the first time, I wanted to try it and it worked well. I figured it was time to start doing this since they like to sit up more now and I can still recline the seats, my neighbor Jill thought it would be better because they could look around and see more . It went fine but towards the end they were tired and cranky and hungry so I had to cut it short a bit, lately they have been not liking walks. I contributed some of it to being in the car seat and getting hot and sweaty :), we will try it again later on this afternoon after they get a good nap and eat. ALSO it was so much easier without the car seats the stroller felt a little lighter (which is good when you have to climb hills).

SCARY WEATHER

The OBALL!! Lynn recommended I get one so here it is I thought about getting 2 but the twins so far seem to be getting along with 1. Carson did try and take it from her the other day but no avail...

Well we had hail and rain come through but no TORNADO however apparently a tornado cloud was spotted on Rainbow curve (not that far from here). I bought Kelsey and Carson some sandals yesterday at Wal-Mart, they always wear their nikes (which I get compliments on so we will be buying more) but I wanted them to have some sandals for summer since their feet get hot in the nikes. Also, Kelsey is wearing dresses more and I want her to have some what decent looking shoes to wear with them. Carson got a pair of Nerf sandals and I got Kelsey a pair of pink flip flop looking sandals with a strap in the back.

Today we went on some errands with daddy and Kelsey was mad in the car (come to find out she was burning up) not sick just hot! I noticed it was hot in the back of the van (when I was sitting back there with them to calm her down) but I thought it was just me since I am always hot. When Jim took her out of her carseat when we got home she was sweating so we can only assume it was heat related, and probably something to do with sitting in the car seat and her wanting her way.

Lynn, Gracie and I went to get pedicures and manicures today, the pedicure felt really good I may need to start getting one every few months :) now my feet will be soft for about a week. I got a lead on a double jogging stroller yesterday and went to look at it the guy wants $150 for it and doesn't need to sell it so he says so he isn't really wanting to budge on price. Its a SCHWINN and black but it doesnt have the storage compartment on the bottom, Jim didnt go look at it with me because he was in a meeting I showed it to him on the WM website, or something similar. He wants a nice one so he may just order it online but we dont know.

Something funny off the point!! Yesterday I went to grab the lotion out of our room to put it on Carson and Kelsey (they both have some dry skin) and I left it sitting on the mat on the floor. I am pretty sure I put the lid on tight but apparently not because Carson was really quiet and I went in and he had the lid off and had put his hand in it. It was all over him and his clothes (so I rubbed it in him) it was funny! I thought kids only did this when they were toddlers.

Hello there!
My hand tastes good :)

Yesterday it was kind of hot and humid :) the babies and I really didn't do alot we went for a walk around the neighborhood and napped and played with toys. Carson and Kelsey are getting really good in their exersaucer and Jumperoo Carson plays with all of the toys on the jumperoo and can entertain himself for about 15-20 minutes or so. They also can hold their heads up really well :)

Carson is doing better at sleeping he is waking up at 5 now it still isnt the 7 that it used to be but I think they are going through a growth spurt because they are eating every 2 hrs during the day instead of their normal 4 hrs. Hopefully it passes and they sleep until 7 again :) not that 5 isnt okay I just liked 7.

Today I fed them both at 5 then put them back to sleep and they slept until around 645 fed them again and they napped around 830 to 9 and now they are napping again (its 10) we shall see how long they nap.

We have church group tonight we have not been for about 3 weeks, my mom was here then we were out of town and there was something else that came up and we couldnt go. I have passed another song on guitar hero (Jim has done like 20+ songs) I am getting Wii fit for mothers day it comes with a pad and you can do yoga, aerobics and something else. I should be able to do it when the babies nap every day :)

New York New York we didnt stay there we stayed at the MGM across the street but I thought this was neat.

I haven't posted in a few days because Jim and I were in Vegas until Thursday and I have been busy since we got back. We had a great time and I was glad we were able to get a vacation in.

I got Jim Guitar Hero for his WII for an early birthday present (I still suck at it and passed 1 song so far).
